Catana I. Lucero
Catana I. Lucero was born in Portland, Oregon, April 1, 1946. She has lived in the immediate area for the greater portion of her life, has three grown children, six grand children and two great granddaughters.
Tana first entered the legal field in 1975 with a small law firm, where she learned the ins-and-outs of managing a law practice. It was here where she was first inspired to become specialized in the area of probate, estate planning, and corporate law. She took a brief 2-year interlude as an independent business owner, but she returned to the legal field in August of 1981. She took a position with a large 52-lawyer law firm as a legal assistant and was fortunate, along the way, to have been designated to work with Terry Bittner and Andy Hahs in the firm’s business department. In September 1983, Terry, Andy and one other attorney broke away from the large law firm to form their own practice. Tana’s prior experience enabled her to assist in the start-up of the new firm, now known as Bittner & Hahs, P.C.
During the 26 years she has been with Bittner & Hahs, Tana further developed her expertise in several areas, including corporate, estate planning, personal injury, and probate law. She continues to enjoy working in these areas, and works primarily with Terry Bittner and Brandon Bittner as their probate specialist.
Tana decided she wanted to get a college degree. She accomplished this from 1996 to 2000. Tana feels her training is substantially complimentary to her area of work. She says her work and her education have proved to be highly gratifying experiences. “Working as a team with Terry and Brandon, bringing creative or unique resolutions to sometimes extraordinary situations makes our job extremely satisfying. In the bigger picture of life, it boils down to how we spend our days. I feel I have the best of all worlds in that I love my job and the people I work with.”
