Licensed in Oregon and California

Eric S. Postma received his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and attended law school at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. While in law school, he was the editor-in-chief of the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution. Eric has actively practiced in Oregon since 1999, and is also licensed to practice in California.

Eric’s experience in business, real estate and civil litigation includes a broad range of cases from breach of contract actions to employment law, personal injury litigation and beyond. He handles all phases of disputes from negotiations to avoid lawsuits to arbitration, mediation and litigation. Eric has successfully argued matters before the California Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Oregon Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. With that experience, Eric focuses his practice on reaching a resolution to each case that best reflects the interests of his client, whether that be a negotiated settlement in the early phases of the dispute or an exhaustion of all appeals after litigation.

Eric also has extensive experience advising businesses in all phases of business operation including business entity formation, employment matters, contract negotiations, sales transactions, and vendor and customer issues. It is Eric’s goal to foster relationships with clients to partner with them in creating and maintaining a successful business or bringing about a reasonable resolution to any dispute.

Eric was raised in Southern California and Houston, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart, with whom he has three children. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, kayaking and rock climbing.
